Our client in Cardiff is seeking a Part Time Accounts Administrator (20 hours per week) to join them for a period of around 3-4 months.

Duties to include:

  • Setting up monthly cash book files, purchase ledger files
  • Logging receipts of cheque books and obtaining authorised signatures
  • Taking telephone calls, resolving queries with managers and taking messages
  • Obtaining authorised signatures for invoices, expenditure authorisation forms and bank mandates
  • Recording the receipt of cash and cheques, providing receipts for staff
  • Liaising with the finance officer to review the aged debtor analysis and follow up on unpaid invoices
  • Preparing mileage claims for monthly invoices
  • General administration

Basic excel skills required, used accountancy packages, Sage Line 50 would be advantageous.
