One of the UK's leading independent insurance and risk management providers. is looking for a new member for their Private Clients Team

The available position is for a Client Adviser in their Middlesex office. Where they need someone who is proactive with strong communication skills and has a desire to develop their professional career.

The successful applicant will have dealt with the HNW personal lines market but not specifically a "HNW specialist" as the book is diverse (and will involve single classic cars that belong to clients connected to commercial colleagues as well as people with extensive fine art collections).

You will be required to have your feet on the ground but be able to seek and maximise opportunities with existing relationships and emerging wealth.

The candidate will be developing and growing their own book of business as part of a Private Clients team that owns their budget and are responsible for their success.

Duties will include:

Managing own book of clients ensuring their insurance needs are met, however, bespoke or non-standard they may be.
Handling all levels of Personal Lines insurance products including standard, mid and high net worth.
Developing and growing book through managing relationships with Commercial colleagues and certain initiatives.
Handling day to day enquiries, pursuing new business from enquiry to policy, renewal inviting and retention.
Must have excellent organisation skills and a grounded knowledge of client relationships.
Understanding the market available to them to secure and retain all risks including distressed and non-standard.
Hitting expected new business income levels and retention levels.
Knowledge of SSP electRa a bonus.
The successful candidate will have experience in the Personal Lines area of our industry and should have at least touched the mid to high-net-worth/ client management area.

They should have higher education qualifications such as A-levels, degree or CII but must have at least grade C and above for GCSE Maths, Science, English.
