Retail Coach (Marks and Spencer)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time
Salary: Up to £30,000 dependent on experience
Are you looking for a new challenge?
Are you an existing Coach or Trainer delivering Retail training? Are you a Retail Manager looking to move into Coaching and Training? We are looking for people who can reflect our own mission statement to Learn More, Do More and Be More.
What will the role involve?
Working in partnership with our client Marks and Spencer, the role will be field based and manage your own diary as determined by the needs of your learners. You will train and support your learners to successfully complete their apprenticeships, through Retail based programmes, remote assessments and the use of our innovative online learning solutions packages.
As a forward thinking organisation, our Coaches deliver apprenticeship programmes to a wide range of businesses. To succeed in this role you might already be an existing Coach or Trainer Assessor, perhaps a team leader or manager with training delivery experience. You will get the opportunity to utilise all your experience and inspire learners to realise their potential, as you support and guide them through their training, preparing them for assessments and exams.
Building strong relationships is key and you will be required to visit Employers where your learners are based and deliver a professional, high quality service, underpinned by the need to meet quality procedures set out by the awarding body.
What skills are we looking for?
First and foremost you need to have a passion for what you do. You should have relevant and recent experience, at a team leader level or above and have experience of delivering Management and Leadership advice and information - ideally in a training environment. You should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and encourage people at all levels. You will need to have a confident approach, with the ability to converse well with learners and senior stakeholders. You will also need to have a driving license and access to your own vehicle, along with the willingness to travel as and when required.
So… what’s in it for you?
For non-qualified Trainers and Coaches we will support your career progression and arrange for you to obtain the minimum qualifications required for the role. If you are already qualified, you will join us at the top end of our very competitive pay scale and you will benefit from any additional training and support available.
We offer 5 weeks holiday with additional bank holidays and a competitive salary package, topped up with bonuses where applicable. We also have standard benefits, including a contribution based pension, childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme, staff discounts and much more. As an organisation, we pride ourselves in the career development our colleagues receive and we continuously strive to improve our ways of working. Everyone at learndirect Apprenticeships (LDA), plays a crucial part in achieving our company goals and vision, therefore in return, we can offer unique opportunities and valuable experiences.
