The Global Digital Team works with all the major markets across Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific to improve the digital platform that provides the websites and digital tools for events, and helps to drive the adoption of new digital products and capabilities.
Reporting to the Global Head of Digital Innovation, you will be coordinating global initiatives around new digital products and capabilities, including mobile/app, location tracking and smartbadge/wearables. You will be a part of a team delivering transformational change to a global business. You will be involved in a variety of projects helping to research, trial and implement new digital capabilities in multiple international business units.
The role will require you to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to be in touch with multiple global stakeholders on a daily basis, so excellent time management and organisational skills are essential. You will need to be a good communicator both written and oral, and have the ability to collate and present information clearly. The role requires the ability to create simple and engaging presentation material to illustrate new processes and demonstrate new product benefits, and to update on project progress.
You will be required to collate information from multiple sources and clearly communicate project requirements to audiences for which English is not the first language. You will lead project meetings to communicate updates and coordinate actions, and host webinars to showcase new vendors.
A key responsibility will be to help find and assess new digital opportunities, working with the Head of Digital Innovation to research vendors, coordinate vendor meetings and document product information which will be a key resource for global Business Unit teams to use for selecting experimental pilots.
The team urgently needs an out-going, enthusiastic individual who can work off their own initiative and solve problems on the fly, whilst keeping the team updated on progress and work collaboratively to resolve issues. Understanding of digital technology and capabilities is a distinct advantage.
