The role:Business2Business Medical Insurance Sales Manager

The Client: Global - head offices in London, Paris, Hong Kong, Israel

The location: London central

The Package: £70k minimum + PRP negotiable to +£20k+ for the right candidate

The opportunity:

This role is a brand-new position for our Global client - they are looking to attract a Business2Business Sales Manager from a Medical insurances background - you will currently be working for a company such as Aviva, Purehealth, Saga, BUPAetc. You will be in the role of a B2B Sales Director or senior sales manager currently and looking to really make the right move for you to take full ownership of this exciting new role.

Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, you day to day will include the following

  • Create and manage pipeline of leads and potential customers to meet annual sales targets
  • Network to win business & then more importantly close on the deal
  • Closing in new business is one of the most important parts of this role
  • Cultivate relationships and generate sales to health insurers and corporates
  • Generate new distribution channels for existing products/services
  • Build customer engagement plans - Analyse, identify, engage and excite potential customers
  • Prepare Sales road shows
  • Work with VP Business Development to create new partnerships and growth opportunities for the company
  • Prepare tailored presentations and sales pitches for potential clients - in collaboration with VP Business Development & Marketing Dept.
  • Generate status and progress reports

Skills and Personal Qualities:

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, results driven environment
  • Ability to identify needs and create solutions/opportunities
  • Naturally creative and well-organised
  • A self -starter and ability to work on own Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales and Account Management Experience in selling healthcare services to payers, providers, employers is a strong plus Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, results driven environment
  • Ability to identify needs and create solutions/opportunities
  • Additional European languages - a strong plus
  • Experience in the private health insurance or employee benefits sector is mandatory

  • Highly collaborative spirit
  • Proactive, independent and able to prioritise and meet targets
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
