We are currently recruiting for an amazing Social Media and Events Coordinator to join a family run product related business based in Ripon. This in an excellent opportunity for an experienced and talented individual who has experience in B2C Marketing, Social Media and Event Coordination.

As Social Media and Events Coordinator role you will be responsible for delivering promotional activity through the use of social media, company website, customer contact and promotional events.

Additionally on a daily basis you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks. Details of these include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with the development and implementation of social media online marketing
  • Working across all Social Media platforms to attract and engage an audience
  • Promoting brand focused messages
  • Analysing social media presence, including costs and returns
  • Analysing the effects of social media campaigns with the use of tracking systems to gather data to determine areas for improvement
  • Creating reports of competitors' social media activity
  • Working alongside the Marketing Manager on advertising campaigns and ensuring website content is updated
  • Ensuring appropriate publicity for events and generating new promotional ideas
  • Delivering on time and within budget events that meet planned expectations. Occasionally staffing events with fully trained personnel
  • Liaising with the community to support local events. Always ensuring a high level of customer service in the delivery of projects
  • Database management

This is an incredible Social Media and Events Coordinator opportunity or an ambitious and well-experienced marketer to join a well-known organisation. In order to be considered for the role you must:

  • Be educated to degree level
  • Have 2 - 4 years' work experience ideally in an online marketing/events environment
  • Be able to work flexibly and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be a team player
  • Have customer service experience in addition to marketing
  • Creative approach to work
  • Have the ability to meet strict deadlines in addition to excellent attention to detail and good co-ordination of activity
  • Have strong report writing and analytical skills
