An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join our client who is specialist designers, installers & operators of CHP, delivering energy efficiency to a wide range of applications including district heating.

The successful candidate will join the companies CHP Team, who has their HQ in Horsham. If successful in your application you will be expected to manage multiple, and varied, range of Turn Key & supply and Commission Projects, ranging from 70kwe up to 4MW in electrical generation. This Project Manager opportunity is a National role with UK travel and overnight stays required to suit the Projects assigned.

You will be expected to lead all assigned projects in a professional and effective manner ensuring that planned work is completed and that project schedules, quality, cost objectives and deadlines are archived while adhering to department systems and procedures. You will also hold responsibility for ensuring Inter-departmental synergy, to assist with Tender Bids for new Projects, and manage Sales to Projects handover, procurement and Design Reviews.

You are expected to effectively manage Customer expectations and requirements, while developing and maintaining effective working relationships with Project Stakeholders and managing the Delivery of Plant, Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Installation. You will co-ordinate Installation commissioning, performance testing and Handover to Customer and Operations Department and also the preparation of O&M Manuals

The company is positioned at the crossover between the energy and environment sectors, and as such is committed to extensive, long-term energy savings and the use of socially responsible and low carbon forms of energy.

A HNC/Degree level in either a Mechanical or Electrical discipline is required for this role as well as Combined Heat and Power Plant experience. Project Management experience of delivering and managing Turn Key M&E type projects, up to £10M, is considered essential.

You will also need to be competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project, with a good Quality and Safety Focus with excellent Contract Awareness (MF1/JCT). You must also have an understanding of basic civil works and some knowledge of CHP systems and electrical generation, is preferred

In return the company will offer a salary of 40k - 45k + car allowance or company car and excellent bonuses and benefits which will boost your overall package.
