Reed Finance is currently recruiting for a highly successful business in the Toomebridge area for an experienced Company Accountant. This company has built themselves to being one of the top 5 companies in the UK in their sector, and are a local success story!

Working directly with and supporting the Managing Director, you will be expected to take ownership of all financial administration including, but not limited to the follows:
• Production of Monthly Management Accounts
• Cashflow forecasting and P&L analysis
• Budgeting
• Government returns including VAT, Intrastat, EC sales
• Maintenance of fixed assets register
• Purchase ledger and accounts payable
• Posting journals to the general ledger
• Bank reconciliations and journals
• Stock reconciliations
• Ad hoc Management reporting using Sage 200
• Any other projects as required

All applicants MUST demonstrate a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in the duties outlined above. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with significant experience within a fast paced commercial business, and who has a track record of driving continuous improvement and profitability!

Applicants must demonstrate strong IT skills specifically with accounting software (Sage would be advantageous) as well as strong knowledge of MS Excel.
You will need strong attention to detail together with excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
