Commercial Manager

Location: North East of England

Term: Permanent staff

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Benefits

A market-leading European organisation has an exciting opening for an experienced Commercial Manager. Based from their flagship site in the north east of England, you will primarily be tasked with leading the client services department, expanding & developing productivity.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Managing the client services team, ensuring service agreements are monitored & achieved
  • Manage & maintain implementation of new clients
  • Increase & develop sales & margins
  • Developing the companies commercial & contract pricing models
  • Monitor the production planning process to ensure SLAs will be met
  • Manage commercial budget expenditure
  • Prepare appropriate information for business meetings
  • Responsibility of client contracts & legal agreements
  • Full management of staff; recruitment, selection & performance
  • Preparing business critical reports & reviewing meetings
  • Continuously improve processes & procedures

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience of leading a commercial/client services team in a highly-demanding environment is essential
  • A background in a fast-paced data processing or production environment is required
  • Experience in people development & performance management
  • Educated to a degree level and/or holds a management qualification is preferred
  • Good level of IT literacy
  • Awareness of commercial industry trends
