Mortgage Administrator - Luton, Bedfordshire

£18,000 - £25,000 per annum

My client is looking to recruit a Mortgage Administrator for their busy Luton based Mortgage Services business. This role would suit someone in Administration Ideally Financial Services or Banking (although not essential) that are ready to take their next step in their career.

As a mortgage administrator you will partner with the Mortgage Advisers on mortgage cases. You'll gain valuable insight into the Mortgage market, acting as the point of contact for Customers, Lenders, Builders and Solicitors as part of their mortgage journey. My client’s Mortgage Administrators are actively involved in helping their customers to secure their mortgages and ensuring a smooth process for all involved.

You will be responsible for assisting with the research and production of new mortgages from AIP/DIP stage to full applications, requesting documents, keying applications, chasing clients and solicitors through to exchange and completion helping the clients every step of the way, In addition you will be keeping all parties updated throughout the mortgage journey and using and keeping up to date records internally.

The role will be a fast-paced and busy, helping customers with a smooth process through the most complex, financial commitment they will ever make.

  • Experience working within financial services in an administrative and customer services capacity is preferred
  • Be a strong communicator

  • Be good at relationship management
  • Be good at working to strict deadlines
  • Be calm under pressure
  • Have good organisational skills
