LF18941 - Child Protection Lead Nurse
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join the multi-disciplinary Child Protection Specialist team. The post holder will be expected to provide expert clinical and strategic leadership in Child Protection policy and practice, including vulnerable families, in particular Looked After Children and Young People.
The postholder will also work closely with local authority Health and Social Care Partnerships to support Child Protection practice across the three local authority H&SCP's in Grampian; Moray, Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City. The Lead Nurse will also work closely on a multi-agency basis with all relevant stakeholders to ensure the safety of children in Grampian.
Applicants must be enthusiastic, hardworking and motivated. Candidates should also possess expert knowledge of child protection policy and practice as well have extensive practical experience within the child protection field. You should possess in-depth knowledge and experience of interagency working, advanced communication skills and managing caseloads/departments.
