This role is based in Manor Royal, Crawley and is responsible for the design, development & management of the Marketing Mix for one of the UK’s leading direct supplier of Vitamins, Minerals & Supplements with a heavy focus on Content Marketing across SEO, Social Media, PPC and Email Marketing.

This role focuses on driving forward the promotion and sales of our food supplements through digital channels by creating fun, inspiring, authentic and engaging content as well as taking responsibility for community management of all Social Media channels and ensuring tangible return on investment through growth and performance.

Through targeted strategies (that you will be expected to work with senior management to design, develop & implement), the role will maximise audience awareness & growth using SEO, Content Marketing, Social Media Engagement and Email Marketing whilst minimising negative sentiment.

You will be required to use Content Creation, Community Management, Customer Care and Performance based activities to acquire, convert and retain a qualified customer base, ultimately increasing brand awareness, brand recommendation and endorsement, and most importantly, customers through the website.

You should be adept at creating and promoting content into Social Media as a customer acquisition channel, setting and implementing social strategies and reporting models, as well as understanding the performance of social activities and what they mean to all stakeholders in the business, including board level.

You must be passionate about the creation, execution & management of digital sales funnels and should be able to create engaging and innovative email marketing campaigns and have an in depth understanding of Conversion Rate Optimisation.

You must understand the financial side of marketing and be prepared to be accountable for your own P&L of your activities.

This role would suit someone who has 5+ years experience in managing the full marketing mix across a variety of audiences (preferably in the health & wellness industry), generating a positive ROI. To get this position the ideal candidate fully understands how marketing impacts on every single part of the business.

This role is ideal for someone who has often identified how things could be done better but has never been given the chance to shine.

You should have extensive experience of getting your hands dirty and be prepared to create the content that needs to be disseminated with minimal supervision & guidance whilst ensuring that all marketing efforts have a positive ROI.

You must be motivated, open minded, bold and keen to succeed; love marketing & all things social, and be prepared to transfer that enthusiasm throughout the business.

About you:

  • A strong copywriter with a natural love of all things digital.

  • Creative mindset.

  • Strong technical capabilities.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in SEO & content marketing for a B2C company.

  • Proven track record in gaining SEO market share and building an organic audience.

  • Have experience in using & understanding keyword research tools.

  • Highly organised & self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic.

  • Previously worked in a similar role

  • Be skilled in managing marketing budgets and campaigns

  • Understand Customer Value Optimisation, Sales Funnels, Conversion Rate Optimisation and other Digital Marketing techniques

  • Be skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop)

  • Proven skills in managing successful affiliate campaigns including recruiting of affiliates for a B2C e-commerce business

  • Highly skilled in Google Analytics and other reporting tools

  • Analytical and results driven

  • Be self motivated enough to work on direction only basis and take responsibility for attaining agreed targets.

  • Be passionate about all things marketing and latest trends

  • Be commercially driven and have proven success in previous e-commerce and Digital Marketing positions.

Base Salary £25,000 - £30,000 DOE plus incentives based on performance OTE £60,000

Occasional international travel may be required for a maximum of 3 weeks at a time.
