A secondary school on the East side of Manchester is looking to recruit a Mathematics teacher to teach up to GCSE level. This position has become available as a result of a member of teaching staff having to leave unexpectedly at the end of January due to personal circumstances changing. The school are therefore looking for a strong and enthusiastic Maths teacher who is looking for a long term teaching position.

The school is situated on the East side of Manchester and has a reputation of students being tougher to manage and teach but the school has recently had a change in some of the senior leadership team. The new SLT have put in place a 3 year plan so are looking for a strong Maths teacher who is able to be a part of the teaching team who can drive the school forward.

The successful Maths teacher should have a strong classroom presence and be able to exercise strong behaviour management skills. It is important that the successful teacher of Maths is able to engage students of all abilities as the timetable will be split across lower and top set students.
