When our client client commenced with its first Mercedes-Benz dealership more than 45 years ago, it started on its journey to become the world’s largest Mercedes-Benz retailer. Their UK dealerships operate under their corporate business, with 9 dealerships in the Birmingham and Manchester market areas.

Due to continued business success and growth, our client are now looking to expand their team through the recruitment of an experienced Used Car Sales Manager at Mercedes Benz of Birmingham.

What will I be responsible for?

Reporting in to the General Manager, the successful Used Car Sales Manager will be responsible for:

- Plan, organise, direct, coach and motivate the Sales Team.
- Ensure the used vehicle range is displayed and presented professionally in line with company guidelines.
- Maintain levels of Customer satisfaction, service and retention through process, training and development of staff.
- Ensure customer complaints are resolved quickly and efficiently, minimising the risk of escalation.
- Act as a supervisor for FCA regulated product sales ensuring policies and procedures are followed
- Ensure part exchange vehicles are appraised correctly using the approved appraisal process.
- To ensure all reports are completed in an accurate and timely manner.

Who are our client looking for?

As the ideal Used Car Sales Manager, you will have previous experience in an automotive sales management role, proven customer service skills and show the ability to work to deadlines.  You will also require:

- People management skills.
- Sales experience in a retail/motor environment.
- Cost centre management.
- Enthusiasm to deliver the company experience and continually improve product knowledge of self and others.
- Flexible approach to work and people and adaptability to a changing workplace environment.
- IT literacy.
- Pass relevant CBT modules in respect of finance insurance, product knowledge and TCF.

Rewards & Hours

In return for your hard work as a Used Car Sales Manager, you will be entitled to a competitive basic salary of £44,150 and an OTE of £88,150 + over achievement. Our client also offer a great of benefits including access to a company car.
