Key Account Manager- SE LONDON/ NW LONDON
Ascott Blake is delighted to be working with a global pharmaceutical organisation that are growing in the UK, and now offering an exciting opportunity for proactive, commercially astute key account managers to cover various areas throughout the UK. Covering either Leicestershire, Lancashire, North Wales & Cheshire, Sussex, SE London, NW London, Essex, Devon & Cornwall, Oxfordshire and Coventry & Warwickshire.
As part of the successful sales team, you will be responsible for meeting sales targets and developing an in-depth understanding of the markets and therapy areas that you would work in. Using your ability to drive and create relationships, you will develop new ways of working with key customers to maximise the potential of the portfolio, and advance customer perceptions of the brand.
You will be expected to manage your territory like your own business, managing a budget, and monitoring return on investment. You will be given the tools and resources to assist you. This role covers various therapy areas including respiratory and allergy.
This opportunity is exciting and varied, and will require you to network internally and externally, to create new opportunities and develop existing relationships to maximise opportunities. You will use your wealth of knowledge, expertise and networks to create loyalty, and to enhance the customer experience.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record within primary and secondary care, who has the ability to utilise sound commercial acumen to create and implement a high quality customer development plan for your territory, plus a strong understanding of complex health economic information and continuing evolving NHS.
You will have existing customer relationships with Practice Nurses/Practice Support Pharmacists/GP’s/CCG's/Secondary Care. You will also have extensive territory knowledge.
You will hold your ABPI. You will be a successful sales professional, who is able to utilise contacts from your extensive industry experience, in order to make an impact in this role.
Respiratory and COPD knowledge would be an advantage.
