An exciting opportunity exists for a part-time, permanent Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our innovative Team within Kersiebank Medical Practice in Grangemouth. The Practice is easily accessible from the M9, which serves Stirling, Grangemouth and Falkirk and the M8, which serves Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The successful applicant will work as part of the Multi-disciplinary Team, providing high quality general medical services to approximately 9,000 patients. You will complement the existing Team, consisting of GPs, ANPs, Practice Nurses, Mental Health Nurses, Physiotherapists, Pharmacists, Reception and Admin Staff, working together to meet the challenges of an increasing demand on the service.

It will be expected that you will have experience working autonomously in Minor Illness and Nurse Triage. You will also possess qualifications in Non-Medical prescribing, Clinical Decision Making and Advanced Clinical Assessment at level 11. Skills in Paediatric assessment would also be advantageous.

This post will also require you to carry out domiciliary visits, so the ability and willingness to travel within the local area of service delivery is essential to this post.

As Kersiebank Medical Practice is managed by NHS Forth Valley, the post holder will be employed under Agenda for Change banding and Terms and Conditions.
