Customer & Solution Development Senior Officer
We are seeking to appoint a Customer and Solution Development Senior Officer to the recently formed Customer and Solution Development team in the Customer Engagement and Development Directorate.
Reporting to the Head of Customer and Solution Development, you will work within a new area of the business supporting NSS to ensure we deliver an optimised, cohesive and responsive service to all our customers, partners and stakeholders and that NSS customer interactions result in a positive experience leading to increased satisfaction with our services. Develop consistent and unified NSS wide processes and governance and ensure NSS has a deep understanding of its customers and markets.
This is a key leadership development role and the postholder will be expected to work autonomously to deliver the objectives of the organisation, driving projects forward and using innovative ideas and solutions to ensure effective and efficient management of the customer and solution development team resources.
A large part of the role will be using Agile methodologies to support the delivery of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategy, providing training across diverse groups in NSS, presenting customer and solution development processes and tools to large groups on a frequent basis. Working within the Digital Transformation Programme, you will have an excellent opportunity for training in the latest digital methods and tools to deliver within the Scaled Agile Framework.
Educated to degree level or equivalent and preferably with a post graduate qualification in marketing, communication or customer management, you will have significant experience in a customer facing role within an public sector or large complex organisation, and as such can demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills and highly developed influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to manage and advise persuasively.
