Audit and Accounts Senior
A permanent audit and accounts job with a National accountancy firm in Wolverhampton, W.Mids paying up to £28k
Your new firm
You will be joining a National accountancy firm at their offices based in Wolverhampton, West Midlands. Their Wolverhampton office has 3 partners and around 25 members of staff and is set on the outskirts of the town.
Your new role
You will be joining the firm in a mixed Audit and Accounts role. You will be involved in audit assignments during the busy season and you'll look after a portfolio of clients that cover a range of industries. The majority of the firm's audit clients are within commuting distant and you will not be expected to stay away.
For the rest of the year your role will be purely accounts based. You'll be expected to produce limited company and unincorporated accounts and you'll liaise with clients on a regular basis. You'll also be expected to produce business tax computations.
You'll be working as part of a team but you'll also work independently where necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you have prior experience of working in an accountancy firm. It would be highly desirable to have strong audit skills but as the role is not purely audit focused it is not essential. There will be no training on offer with this role so applicants can be 'Qualified by Experience', non-qualified or part-qualified (stopped studying).
