We have permanent and bank post available. The Phlebotomy Department provides a venepuncture service on behalf of all services within the Acute Division of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The phlebotomy service is part of the Diagnostic Directorate, Department of Laboratory Medicine. You will be responsible for the delivery of the Phlebotomy Service to wards Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, thus ensuring target times are met and adhered to for the delivery of blood specimens to the laboratories. You should be educated to Standard Grade level or equivalent or have experience of working in a similar role. Excellent communication skills are required for this post. This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotland's PVG Scheme.
