Description
  • Key member of the Experian API-CoE Platform Development Team

  • Hands on during all phases of the system/software development life cycle with

    • requirements gathering

    • software project planning

    • scoping

    • code development

    • change management

  • Provide technical expertise in working with development, operations, architecture groups and Business SMEs to define business requirements, develop and analyze business models, and provide use case scenarios

  • Develop security solution proposals, evaluate alternatives, and make recommendations

  • Work with Quality Assurance team in the testing of product releases

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years as a solutions and security developer, including application infrastructure design experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a development field with expertise in software design and application development
  • Experience in J2EE and distributed computing technologies
  • Experience in Open Source technologies such as Hibernate, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Webflow, Richfaces and Axis
  • Experience with Web servers and Application containers (such as SunONE/Apache Web Servers, JBoss/Tomcat/WebLogic, and IIS 5.0/6.0)
  • Strong background within information technology development, security, and security engineering, with hands-on experience of a diverse range of architectural and security technologies including but not limited to:
    • PCI / FCA Standards
    • SSL/TLS
    • PKI
      • Strong Authentication
      • Certificate Life-cycle Management
    • Database technologies
    • SaaS
    • PaaS
    • Cloud implementations
    • Online Fraud Detection
    • Single Sign-On (SSO)
  • Experience in developing security solutions, preferably utilizing RSA based and/or Oracle based technologies
  • Proven ability in independently assessing complex technical problems and devising detailed action plans for resolution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Thorough knowledge of hardware infrastructure and network topology designs
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration solutions
  • Working knowledge of
    • API / SOA (IBM Datapower and/or Apigee a plus)
    • Messaging / Enterprise Service Bus (Tibco a plus)
  • Working knowledge or familiarity with Federated Identity (SAML, oAuth, OIDC with Okta a plus)
  • Experience with Access and User Management Life Cycle
