A very exciting role within a market leading FTSE 250 organisation for a Tableau Technical Lead, you will report directly to the Senior Technical Manager and will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, promotion and overall leadership of the Tableau data visualization provision.This role is a senior level position and there is scope for line management opportunity for the successful candidate in the future.

This role will also be responsible for leadership and mentoring of other junior Tableau developers and for helping to define the company's best practice and strategy for data visualization and report publishing.

Main Duties:

+ Business Intelligence development and dashboarding using Tableau and SQL
+ Develop change requests logged by client teams and coordinate completion
+ Understanding and maintenance of Tableau Server and business logic & rules associated with automated data feeds and reporting
+ Own and maintain the catalogue of licenses for Tableau within the organisation
+ Managing data import and hosting of multi-contract reporting
+ Responsible for the definition and execution of Tableau best practice
+ Overall responsibility for ensuring data integrity of Tableau reporting and ensuring this is consistent with other core system reporting (i.e. SSRS)
+ Contribute to the strategic roadmap of MI/BI using Tableau and other technologies for the organisation

Required Skills:

+ 5+ years experience working with complex data analysis including extensive use of Tableau, and SQL Server TSQL.
+ Experience with full Microsoft BI stack an advantage (incl Power BI).
+ 5+ years experience of people management specifically in the MI industry.
+ Experience of the Facilities Management or Property industry highly preferred.
+ Articulate with the ability to present to a senior stakeholder level.
+ A working knowledge of current Business Intelligence trends, applications and best practices.
+ Experience working with 3rd parties in a development environment.
+ Experience of presenting to senior stakeholders, both internal and client-side.
+ Absolute eye for detail in terms of accuracy of information.
+ Ability to drive change and develop with customer & business needs.
