Role: Accounts Assistant

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Part time, 30 hours per week

Location: Near Romsey

Salary: £16,000 - £18,000 (based on 30 hours per week)

This a great opporutntiy for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a small, friendly team on a part time, permanent basis. The company are looking for someone who has previous experience within a similar position and can hit the ground running.

Job Description

  • Purchase Ledger -maintenance, processing and payment administration
  • Cash Book - maintain, record, post and reconcile to Bank Statements
  • Petty Cash - maintain, record, post and reconcile
  • Company expenses - maintain, record, post and reconcile
  • INTRASTAT - submit data on a monthly basis in line with statutory deadlines
  • Customer Rebates - maintain and administer the annual Customer Rebate records
  • Credit Control Function - provide cover for holiday and sickness absences
  • Ad hoc duties as required in relation to the Finance function and administrative functions of the Company
  • Reporting directly to the Financial Controller

To be considered for this position you must meet the following criteria:

  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Able to use Microsoft software including Excel
  • Previous experience using MS Dynamics is desirable but not essential as training can be provided
  • Access to your own transport. Due to the location of this company it is essential that you have your own method of transport. There are no public transport links.
