Our client is a wholesaler and distibutor of horticultural products who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their Purchase Ledger Team.

Job Purpose: To provide full administrative support to the Purchase Ledger team

Responsibilities:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assist and supervise the debtors control reconciliations
  • Prepare cash book reconciliations
  • Assist with the purchase ledger reconciliations
  • General ledger and administration
  • Processing expenses
  • Maintaining cash books
  • Assist with general bank payments
  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis

Essential requirements:

  • Bank reconciliation experience
  • Intermediate excel skills
  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Thorough with attention to detail
  • Highly numerate
  • Willing to learn

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Accounts Experience working towards AAT or similar would be beneficial.
  • Educated to A-level or equivalent as a minimum
  • Training will be provided

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30. Own transport required due to location.

Salry £10-£11 / hr
