An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Deputy Charge Nurse to work in Davan ward, which is an assessment ward for patients with organic illness, who are aged predominantly over 65, who may display high levels of stress and distress.

The successful candidate must have a genuine interest of working with patients who have Dementia, have awareness of current legislation and political drivers and be focused on leading the delivery of quality care, which is person centred and recovery focused. They should also be committed to leading and developing an environment which offers Therapeutic activity, appropriate to our patient group at any one time.

The successful post holder will be required to work both rotational shifts across both day and night, working regular weekends. The post holder should be a first level RMN and previous management experience is desirable but not essential.
