Job Description
General description of tasks to be carried out by applicant
*Preparing and consolidating group management accounts.
oPosting monthly journals e.g. wages and depreciation.
oAccruals and Prepayments.
oInter-company cross charges and transactions.
oReconcile and manage multiple entities.
*Working with Excel spreadsheets for:
oWorking papers e.g. Accruals, Prepayments and Petty cash transactions.
oFixed Asset registers.
oCheck and value Stock.
*Budgeting
oUpdating forecast
oReporting to budget
*Day to day activities on sales and purchase ledgers.
oInvoices, cash, journals, allocations.
oOverseeing the reconciliation of the Ledgers.
*Supervise the department and liaise with the rest of the company.
*Liaising with Auditors, bank and statutory
oProvide accurate working papers
oProvide information and back-up for audits as requested
*VAT
oPreparing Intrastat and EC Sales figures.
oReconcile VAT Figures to Intrastat and EC Sales.
oPreparing and submitting the VAT returns
