Regenda is now recruiting a Rent Officer to work with our talented Financial Inclusion team in Fleetwood.
About the role
To maximise Regenda’s income and achieve performance targets around rent collection and arrears recovery in a way that supports our tenants to sustain their tenancies and take responsibility for managing and maintaining a clear rent account.
Ideal candidates will have solid experience of managing a range of housing related debt, ideally on a patch basis (or similar). You will need to demonstrate an understanding of balancing the need of the customer and that of the organisation, along with a good understanding of the rent collection processes.
The successful candidate will possess a knowledge of welfare benefits and experience of providing general advice to tenants as part of arrears prevention work and demonstrable knowledge of current Housing Policy and its impact on social housing generally but particularly in relation to income management. You will also have evidence of meeting performance indicators and targets whilst able to prioritise a heavy workload.
If you are customer focused with excellent communication skills, I.T. literate with the ability to assist in the development of new systems and a knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office, we would like to hear from you!
