Monarch Education is a recruitment agency currently in search of Teaching Assistants to work within the primary sector in Coventry and Warwickshire. We are looking for Teaching Assistants who would be interested in the opportunity to work in several schools, to cover day to day, short term and long-term placements supporting children in with their education, however if the school likes you they may ask you to continue with them.

You will be responsible for:
*Raising the awareness of teaching staff to the strengths and difficulties of individual pupils
*Assisting teaching staff in the monitoring and evaluation of pupil's progress
*Understanding the emotional and social needs of pupils
*Assisting in the assessment of pupils
*Assisting in the monitoring of Individual Education Plans for children who require specific support
*Providing support to manage difficult behaviour and help set behaviour targets
*Working closely with the special educational needs team to review statements and progress
*Providing booster and intervention sessions to raise standards across the classroom

Successful teaching assistant's must:
* Have a minimum of a level 2 or 3 qualification related to working with children
* Be able to commit to up to 5 days per week on a longer-term basis
* Have previous experience of supporting at Primary level
* Be able to support all pupils to cater for their individual needs
* Be flexible and adaptable approach to work with a positive outlook on education
Have excellent organisational skills

You must be dedicated to supporting pupils of primary age and it is essential that you hold at least a Level 2 or 3 qualification related to working with children and have recent experience.
