Applications are invited for a Locum Appointment for Service (Lower Level) opportunity to commence 7 February 2018 until 31 July 2018.

The Orthopaedic Units form part of the wider Integrated Care and Emergency Services Directorate and the postholder will work within the general orthopaedic department seeing a range of patients in the clinic ward and theatre setting.

University Hospital Ayr opened in 1992 and is located in the south east of Ayr town. It provides local services in major specialities as well as area services for Vascular and Urology. The hospital has a range of laboratory and investigative facilities and provides a service for the South Ayrshire population of 157000.

As a LAS in Orthopaedics you shall work as part of a team and be encouraged to take the opportunities provided to study and gain experience in Orthopaedic/Accident practice. You will also participate in our Hospital at Night team on a rota basis.

Candidates must hold Full GMC Registration with a current Licence to Practice and have satisfactorily completed Foundation Training or equivalent. This post is not recognised for educational approval. Salary: ?1263.66 per week (inclusive of Band 1A supplement).
