Client Development Manager
Are you a detail driven relationship builder? This role will focus on the relationships with 5 of the top clients for this successful Law firm. You will be joining the firm at the start of the journey to develop a top performing client development team which will be monitored across a suite of KPI's including revenue growth and client satisfaction amongst others. The role will be working closely with the Partners across a number of offices (majority in Manchester) to create a number of initiatives which will engage with your clients from thought leadership pieces, to a regular suite of reports and engagement at events and presentations. There will be an opportunity to get involved with creating a client listening programme which will pull on your ability to engage on a face to face basis with your accounts. There will be an executive which will report into the role and the CD Manager will be involved with the hiring and development of this individual. Ownership of this opportunity is there for the taking for the successful candidate and this is a rare opportunity to get involved from the beginning with the client development programme and add a crucial element to the overall firms business development strategy.
In order to be successful at application it is crucial that you have worked in a similar role within a professional services firm. You must be able to evidence having created a detailed strategic plan regarding how to develop individual client accounts. You could come from a broader business development and marketing background but being able to demonstrate the ability to tackle the detail of developing a single business as opposed to a wider sector is crucial. Knowledge of the Insurance sector will be seen as a major positive at application although this is not essential. Strong relationship managment and communciation skills are a given.
