Monarch Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Erdington who are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, highly motivated Teaching Assistant to provide support for pupils with a Hearing impairment

The school requires an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant who is:
*Experienced supporting pupils with a hearing impairment; must have a strong understanding of how a pupil's need can be met within a mainstream setting
*Confident managing challenging behaviour in the classroom and using de-escalation techniques.
*Skilled working with pupils with communication difficulties; BSL and/or PECS training is advantageous
*Able to demonstrate the impact you have had a child's progress and development

The school is a large multicultural Primary school in Birmingham. You would be joining a well established, supportive and welcoming SEN support team, where you would be well supported within your role and development would be highly encouraged. The school have a very harmonious and inclusive education policy in which all students are given the support and skills to succeed in education and beyond.

You will need;
*Minimum of a level 3 in a childcare/ Education related qualification
*Two good relevant references
*An enhanced DBS on the update service check or be willing to do a DBS
