An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic Anesthetic/Recovery nurse to work within the Radiology Department. Applications are invited from experienced anesthetic nurses with strong clinical leadership abilities for this position. You should have a keen interest in this great development opportunity with the ability to progress towards a Band 6.

The candidate will be expected to work on set days, Tuesday/Wednesday with a flexible floating half day. The successful candidate will be required to work mainly as an anaesthetic/recovery nurse but also learn the diverse roll of the radiology nurse, as well as participate in the on call rota.

Previous radiology experience/knowledge is an advantage but training will be given. The candidate must demonstrate a willingness to learn and be able to work well within the multi-disciplinary team.

The Radiology department provides an ever growing service for both inpatients and outpatients, offering procedures under fluoroscopy. We provide varying services and procedures under general anaesthetic within the main Interventional Radiology department as well as Ct, ERCPs and Cath lab.

This is a great development opportunity for a Band 5 nurse or an existing Band 6 to gain experience in all aspects of an extremely challenging department.

An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates.
