A vibrant, entrepreneurial and diverse university, we have built a sound reputation for our teaching quality, high student employability and close links with schools and industry. The Nottingham Institute of Education provides high quality education-related courses and initial teacher-training, with excellent partnerships with a range of education related settings and a significant involvement in a number of pioneering research and development projects.

We are looking to appoint a talented individual who is committed to driving improvement by providing high quality management, analysis and interpretation of data to internal colleagues. You will discharge our responsibilities for statutory and organisational data returns and reports, such as the annual census of trainee teachers and our bids for teacher training places. You will also ensure that our capture and analysis of data enables the effective monitoring, evaluation and development of our portfolio, so that the progress and experience of our students is maximised. You will work closely with our administrative team, and advise on the use and development of our data systems and data-generating processes.

You will be highly numerate, IT-savvy, able to produce and disseminate engaging analyses of large datasets, and customer-focused. Applicants are encouraged to outline other areas of expertise and professional interest which they are able to bring to the work of our Institute. For example, the post holder may provide quantitative expertise in support of our research programme.
