An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Lead to join the Corporate Equalities Team to manage our new Interpretation and Translation service in Tayside. The Corporate Equalities, Interpretation and Translation Team will provide an Interpretation and Translation service throughout Tayside, within Health and Social Care, including Primary Care. You will manage and develop the new Interpretation and Translation service with a wider remit for corporate equalities to deliver a high quality service to patients, carers and their families in Tayside.

You must be able to evidence proven leadership and management and previous success in driving change and improvement, with a working knowledge and experience of healthcare. The postholder will work with a range of services and healthcare professionals across acute, primary and health and social care partners in Tayside.

You will be committed to providing high standards of safe, effective and person centred care within a dynamic health and social care environment. You must have the ability and commitment to work with multidisciplinary teams and local partners/agents to maintain standards of excellence and continue to improve patient experience.

You must be educated to degree/post graduate level and be able to demonstrate continued professional development and consolidation of your post basic training and education.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are: 37.5 hours per week. The Interpretation and Translation service will operate 24/7 365 days per year.
