As this retail companies in-house Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for the management of our organic social channels, ensuring a joined up and measurable approach to growing our brand visibility and engagement.

You’ll also be responsible for managing our Email Marketing strategy, utilising our email database to drive engagement, through customer segmentation and email campaigns

This is a new role within a rapidly growing organisation at our head office in Chiswick, where you’ll become a key member within the digital marketing team.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage our organic social media platforms - creating, implementing and overseeing our strategy to drive brand awareness and engagement
  • Analyse and report upon key performance metrics, as well as upon competitor and vertical performance, delivering key insights to help drive campaign’ performance
  • Assist with creation, implementation and management of a content strategy, mapping relevant opportunities to the customer journey
  • Work closely with our paid media specialist, plus other digital team members, to deliver joined up successful campaigns
  • Mentor the company on social media best practice, insights, trends and recommendations
  • Manage our email strategy - from data capture acquisition initiatives, through to successful email campaigns, segmenting and communicating with our audience to drive engagement and sales
  • Your role will include a large degree of digital and business coordination, ensuring all the internal requirements are met, plus liaising and supporting the wider digital team

Other Responsibilities

  • Be at the forefront of digital trends; identify and implement tests and best practices and continue to be an early adopter of new strategies and technologies
  • Work closely with our in-house and agency side digital specialists to ensure a joined-up approach to customer acquisition
  • Forecast performance and maintain accurate accounting of activity vs. results, analyse performance against forecast and makes course adjustments as needed to reach business KPIs
  • Attend and present to stakeholder meetings

Required Experience and Skills

  • 3 years+ proven Organic Social Media experience and track record of creating, implementing and overseeing results focused strategies
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Social Media management and reporting suites, plus campaign’ measurement set up
  • Experience in managing substantial annual media budgets
  • Proven experience in managing a CRM / Automation platform, plus email marketing system - including intuitive segmentation of email databases
  • Excellent attention to detail in both data analysis and written English
  • Experience in devising and implementing engagement and intent driven, user centric content strategies
  • Experience in Paid Social an advantage
  • An understanding of UX, multi-variant and a/b web page testing and measurement, plus usage of heat-mapping / user analysis software would be an advantage - to assist in generating, implementing and testing new ideas that will increase conversion and revenue for the company website
  • You must have the ability to work to strict commercial deadlines and be a self-starter
