An exciting opportunity has risen for a Band 7 Team Leader to provide leadership and management initially for the Primary Care Mental Health Team within North Ayrshire Health & Social Care Partnership. Adult Community Mental Health Services are currently undergoing a significant review and it is envisaged that the Team Leader post will in the future encompass the management of an integrated community mental health team and will work in partnership with a Team Manager from Mental Health Social Work to ensure an effective recovery focussed and client centred care is delivered.

You will provide operational oversight and positive leadership of the primary care mental health team ensuring that all practitioners within the team work together to achieve delivery of excellent effective person centred care within the available resources.

You will be able to demonstrate effective leadership and be confident in delivery supervision to your direct reports and have an understanding of current recover orientated practices in Mental Health.

It is essential that you have a professional qualification in (RMN/RNLD). Be able to demonstrate ongoing professional development and also have a willingness to engage in training opportunities to enhance your knowledge base and experience.

You will be self motivated proactive and an innovative individual with the ability to be flexible and react positively to ongoing change and demands as the service is currently under review.

A car owner/driver is essential.

Hours: 37.5 per week.
