NHS National Services Scotland (NSS), Programme Management Services (PgMS) is looking for experienced and qualified project support professionals to meet our current and emerging commitments to support strategic and operational modernisation initiatives across Health and the wider Public Sector in Scotland.

PgMS provides portfolio, programme and project delivery support to NSS, other Special Health Boards, Scottish Government Health and Social Care Directorate and wider Public Sector organisations in Scotland across a substantial and diverse portfolio of programmes and projects delivering strategic change, establishing new responsibilities or services, and developing and promoting new ways of working. PgMS leads and advises on programmes and projects and provides consultancy and support on the use of portfolio, programme and project management techniques.

The Project Support Officer role contributes significantly to NSS delivery by providing project support to programme and project management teams. Candidates should be able to demonstrate recent experience and success whilst working in a project support environment. These posts are available and are based in Gyle Square, Edinburgh with frequent travel throughout Scotland. These posts are available as a secondment opportunity for existing NHS Staff.
