The Clinical Manager supports the Health Care Manager in the management of Primary Care, Addiction and Mental Health nursing team members to deliver a high quality service in compliance with statutory responsibilities professional guidelines and the Policies and procedures of Greater Glasgow and Clyde. You will have continuing responsibility for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care and the setting of standards of care within a secure environment. You will be responsible for the management of a specified clinical area which will include the management and effective deployment of clinical and support staff to meet clinical need. You will manage all resources and the day to day management of clinical and environmental risks. You will have a key role to play in providing education for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Essential Qualifications and Training: Registers Nurse, Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
Management Experience: Significant experience in a senior level nursing post in relevant clinical setting and evidence of continuing professional development.
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities: Proven experience in effective leadership and management, excellent communication and organisational skills, literate in current IT techniques, report writing skills, ability to work on own initiative and ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines The shift pattern for this post is Rotational.
