You will manage the provision of a professional secretariat function to the NHS Board, key standing Committees, professional advisory committees, sub-committees, management groups and other Groups/Fora within Standing Orders, Terms of Reference/Remits, Constitutions, elections and within expected levels of quality assurance. You will provide specialist advice and guidance to the Chair, Chief Executive, Directors and senior managers and others to ensure compliance with Board policies, procedures and protocols and legislative requirements. You will assist with the public affairs function and cover leave and also undertake requirements for review (appeals) under the Freedom of Information legislation. Preferably you will be educated to Degree level or equivalent with experience of working within a large complex organisation.
