Are you methodical and well organised with great communication skills and a genuine passion for animal welfare?Dogs Trust are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Campaigns Officer responsible for leading on, constructing, delivering and managing high profile Dogs Trust campaigns and initiatives aimed at promoting and facilitating responsible dog ownership in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.Dogs Trust is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK with a nationwide network of rehoming centres and charity shops. Last year, Dogs Trust centres cared for over 15,000 dogs; we never put a healthy dog down.In this key role you will work closely with the Head of Campaigns, UK Campaigns Manager and the Head Office team's other Campaigns Officer. A significant part of the role is to drive forward the construction, delivery and co-ordination of campaigns, helping ensure that national and regional work is joined up and consistently applied.To be successful in this post you will have experience of having previously managed successful campaigns and of evaluating delivery of work to bring about continuous improvement. You will also be assured at using your own initiative to pursue work and be able to demonstrate leadership in your role.You will be a clear and concise communicator, adept at writing engaging copy and able to juggle a number of different projects and activities. You will also be comfortable and confident working and building relationships with a number of colleagues across Dogs Trust, both inside and outside of the Campaigns department, and with partner organisations.To apply for this position please click the APPLY NOW button.
