Finance Manager – Part Qualified Accountant £40,000 - £45,000 + Excellent Benefits + Amazing friendly working environment! St. Albans, Hertfordshire Incredible Finance Manager opportunity working as part of a leading global events supplier within a vibrant and friendly working environment. This incredible opportunity will be a stand alone role responsible for all financial accounting, invoicing and reporting processes and activities, payroll administration and analysis of financial fluctuations within the company, ensuring the quality of all financial processes and compliance. You will continuously look for improvements and act as a contact for external stakeholders like tax authorities, auditors and banks. Key Responsibilities - Planning & control cycle (budgeting & forecasting, actual reporting) - Registration of hours and payroll administration - Cash flow planning & execution, dunning and collection cycle - Financial accounting (Invoicing, payables, receivables ledgers, fixed assets, banks and G/L) - Preparation of annual accounts - Performance analysis on projects and shows, based on relevant KPI`s - Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles - Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls - Contact person for tax authorities, auditor, group reporting and banking Person Specification - A degree holder in Accounting & Finance or equivalent - Proven experience as a Senior Financial Accountant or controller - Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures - In-depth understanding of GAAP - Accuracy and attention to detail without losing the overall picture - Have a flare for numbers, work well with people, aggressively anticipate impact of workloads/issues to team deadlines and have a very positive work attitude and strong sense of responsibility, including willing to be flexible on working hours during peak periods - Strong experience in income statement analysis - Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with VLOOKUPS and pivot tables - Proficiency in using ERP systems and Microsoft office applications - Strong organisational, analytical and interpersonal skills - Strong verbal and written communication - Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects Email: Gemma@maidayrecruit .co.uk
