Senior Engineering Opportunities (x2) / Maintenance Management Immingham, North Lincolnshire £65,000 - £70,000 depending on skills and qualification Our client is one of the world’s leading integrated refining & energy organisations. Employing a total of 430 staff, the refinery processes 7.5 million tonnes of crude oil pa, supplying products to the UK and Northern Europe markets. They now have an opportunity within their extended management team for two Lead Maintenance Engineers to join their site in Immingham, North Lincolnshire to organise and direct the routine maintenance section of the oil refinery. This is a key senior position within the Refinery holding significant responsibility; you will be accountable for the overall line management of a team of 15 personnel including 5 engineers and 2 maintenance controllers ensuring that all work is carried out consistently with regards to safety, budget, environment, reliability and operability and in line with relevant legislation and standards. Budgetary responsibility is set at circa £10 million, to include General Routines, Contract Management and CAPEX. Organised and efficient, you will lead safety initiatives, review and implement preventative maintenance plans and take control of the annual budget preparation and cost reporting through SAP. You will ensure maintenance contracts are complied with in terms of cost, productivity, efficiency and quality and where necessary implement corrective measures and improvement strategies. They are looking for a Chartered Engineering professional with a degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject along with broad experience in a similar maintenance leadership role within a large petrochemical or similar heavy industrial environment. You must be able to demonstrate strong leadership and management skills and have significant experience from within a continuous production environment where high levels of plant reliability, availability and utilisation are vital. It is essential that you are aware of current legislation, quality systems, environmental policies and procedures and have extensive previous experience of both personnel and budgetary control
