Challenge Events Programme Manager

We’re on the hunt for an enthusiastic and ambitious Events Programme Manager to join our high performing team and maximise net income from a portfolio of third party and bespoke challenge events.

Responsible for the marketing and delivery of a wide portfolio of events, your contribution will drive income against ambitious targets and deliver the best supporter experience in the industry. We’re looking for a strong results-focused individual with experience in the charity challenge events sector. Your relationship management and experience in project management will be central to your success in identifying and driving the best opportunities to grow income and develop the iconic Team Macmillan experience.

Our ambition is to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer and to inspire millions of others to do the same. There are 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK today, and as more people live longer with their cancer, this number is set to grow to 4 million by 2030. Our work is only possible because of the amazing people that make up Macmillan.

This role involves attendance at a number of UK events that take place at the weekend. A full UK driving licence is essential. If you can do all this, and more, then apply today. In return for all you do for us we commit to actively developing your career and offer benefits including private medical insurance, life assurance, pension, childcare vouchers, generous leave and interest free loans for season ticket and gym membership.

An assessment centre will be held on Monday 22 January 2018.

Please submit your application as soon as possible as we reserve the right to change the closing date of our vacancies.

We aim to encourage a culture where people can be themselves and be valued for their strengths so we seek to attract and employ the best people from the widest talent pool, reflecting the diverse nature of our society.

We will support you throughout the recruitment process with any reasonable adjustments required in accordance with the Equality Act. Please contact the Recruitment Team if you require support.
