Part Time Branch Manager 24 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a rota basis Lymington £19,000 pro rata Part time, ideally 3 days per week (this will include weekends). The purpose of this role is to maximise sales and profitability through excellent service and effective management of team and stock Key responsibilities • Drive and deliver a high level of service to all customers at all times to maximise sales and reinforce the company image • Ensure the team carry out all points of the customer service policy as laid out by the Company • Ensure service in the branch is a priority including internal customers • Exhibit a friendly, open and honest approach with customers and encourages this in others • Ensure all team uphold Company policy on refunds, considering goodwill at all times • Regularly assesses customer service standards within the branch and acts accordingly • Has a comprehensive understanding of targets to be achieved/relays this information to the team • Seek ways to achieve or exceed branch sales targets • Leads by example in portraying a positive Company image at all times and ensures that team do the same • Follow correct policies and procedures in order to keep within agreed budgets set by the Company • Regularly audits own branch administration and helps resolve any issues • Ensure correct till policies and procedures are followed by self and team • Maintain the correct filing of administration in line with Company procedure and standards • Has overall responsibility for cash handling and key-holding in branch • Implement within own branch any changes in procedures positively and effectively • Implement display and visual merchandising procedures in order to maximise sales • Uses relevant information to ensure the branch is merchandised according to Company guidelines • Encourage a high standard of visual merchandising amongst the team • Ensure the team maintain stock presentation standards through effective replenishment • Effectively communicates any changes in stock or branch layout to all members of the team • Monitor stock performance with Area Manager to ensure branch has correct stock package • Liaise with Area Manager to agree plans for branch layout in preparation for sale floor moves • Utilise extensive product knowledge to enhance selling skills and ensures that the same applies to the team • Regularly review and evaluates training to highlight any further training needs • Ensures all HR procedures are followed for direct reports and works with HR and Area Managers, as necessary, to effectively deal with any personnel issues • Plans for and manages recruitment needs effectively ensuring Company procedures are followed Person specification • Driven by positive results and a sense of achievement • Considers the customer in all activities and strives to continually improve service levels • Actively seeks to improve knowledge and skills in themselves and others • Identifies commercial trends and translates them to the branch environment • Communicates confidently and effectively, building positive working relationships • Commitment to strive for high standards and achieve targets • Analyses relevant information and interpreting results to provide recommendations for the branch • Thinks ahead, anticipating future needs and opportunities • Demonstrates self-motivation, motivates the team and provides clear vision and direction • Responds quickly to change, identifying the benefits and managing the needs of others • Has a thorough knowledge of Company policies and procedures • Delegates tasks and follows up to ensure accurate and timely completion • Recognises branch opportunities and takes appropriate action Disclaimer: Unfortunately, due to the high number of applications currently being received, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
