They are looking for someone with both Back and Front end experience preferred - 70/30 in favour of Back-end.
The successful individual will need to be used to making architecting decisions, need to be able to scope and work out how to work on a project. For example, they will give you a user story and maybe some mock-ups - you need to be able to assess the project, plan out how you are going to tackle it, estimate time for completion and then deliver. So they are looking for someone with diligence in how they approach their work, not just in how they write their code.
With this position, you will need experience of managing a team. Not just doing stand-ups or being the most senior developer in the room, but actually keeping people on track with planned work, challenging recommendations to ensure fit for purpose of solution, mentoring team & reviewing code quality.
