Senior Fundraising Executive (Community Events) Every day brings new challenges for our client. Every day, 618 seriously ill children from across the UK arrive for life-changing treatments. Without donations, they can’t help fund ground-breaking research, advanced equipment, child and family support services, and the rebuilding and refurbishment of wards and medical facilities. Their staff help to raise these vital funds for the hospital. A better future for seriously ill children starts with you. Community Events is a public facing team raising a minimum of £6m every year, working with thousands of supporters who raise money in aid of the charity through a varied range of activity. The team also has responsibility for their volunteer ambassador programme, in-memory fundraising, and the ‘Charity Hub’, whilst working closely with the wider hospital community. Position: Senior Fundraising Executive, Community Events Location: London Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Salary: £Competitive Closing date: 15th January 2018 About the role: This is a key position within a dynamic and inspiring supporter-focused Community Fundraising Team. The role would suit a highly driven and experienced supporter-facing fundraiser with a track record of donor development and new business experience who is looking to further their managerial and strategic skills. The post holder will be responsible for retention of key supporters through impeccable account management. About you: There is a primary focus on leading the team, in close collaboration with the new business Fundraising Manager, in securing new supporters for the charity as part of the team’s new business activity. The post-holder needs an adaptable, creative approach to identifying and creating opportunities, driving the team to deliver growth and shaping the future of community fundraising at the organisation. It’s a job for someone with either a charity or corporate sector background, who thrives on delivering and exceeding targets in an exciting and fast paced environment.
