This is a fantastic opportunity to lead an award winning PR team at the UK’s number on trusted charity brand. With responsibility for the development and delivery of Macmillan’s overarching media and PR strategy, you can help raise our national media profile to ensure we continue to be recognised as the UK’s leading cancer support charity. Heading up a highly skilled and successful team, you will create compelling national media and PR campaigns and events to support the delivery of Macmillan’s corporate strategy in line with our brand. With excellent relationship building and influencing skills, you will help maximise Macmillan’s impact, persuasively promoting our aims and objectives and protecting our reputation. Alongside a clear track record of effective media relations and crisis management, you will demonstrate a capacity for inspirational leadership and the strategic and people skills needed to focus and co-ordinate the activities of a large media and PR team.
