Neighbourhood Officer / Social Housing 37 hours per week £28,000 per annum Based at Head Office, Evesham, St Mary’s, Gloucester/mobile and remote working Our client’s mission is to improve the quality of life of people and the communities in which they live. They are seeking to recruit a Neighbourhood Officer who, as the face of the organisation in the communities, will provide a full frontline housing service. You will work with customers and stakeholders to develop thriving and resilient communities. You will ensure outstanding customer service, act as an ambassador for the organisation and be a key point of contact for customers, local stakeholders and partner agencies. This is a great opportunity to really make a difference. The ideal candidate will have experience of collating key performance data and presenting in an understandable format together with experience of multi agency working, including statutory and voluntary agencies. You will have, or be working towards, a Level 3 professional housing or related qualification together with knowledge of housing legislation and current knowledge of welfare reforms. You will also have a full current driving licence and use of your own vehicle. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar role. You will have the ability to work under your own initiative and manage difficult situations together with the ability to lead, motivate and enthuse tenants to build thriving communities. You will have excellent negotiation and presentation skills, be IT literate, using Microsoft Office, internet communications and have experience of using a housing management system.
