I am currently working with a key client based in the Birmingham area, looking for a DevOps engineer to join and established team. The DevOps engineer will be working closely with the development team in order to aid agile development processes.

The DevOps Engineer will have a passion for Automation, Building and configuring tools for deployment, monitoring and operations. Working within a live production environment troubleshooting and resolving issues in the dev, test and production environments.

Skills and experience

  • Linux guru; CentOS ideally. Builds, Repo Management etc.
  • Experience working with Web Applications; Open Source Linux technologies, Linux, Apache, PHP, Solr
  • Experience with Automation and provisioning
  • Automated deployments
  • Cloud experience (ideally SaaS)
  • At least 1-2 years' DevOps experience
