The Role This role requires you to collaborate with the flexible learning and loans teams within Learning Curve Group to assess learner performance and/or deliver related underpinning knowledge and support in a range of tasks and to ensure that the competence and/or knowledge meet the requirements of the standards. You’ll need these important qualities: ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills ? Monitor and meet deadlines for learner timely completions ? Proactive in the approach to complete assessments ? Focus on delivering high quality support and assessment ? Ability to work on own and is self-motivated ? Ability to manage own diary and caseload We offer a full induction and training package to our new staff so you very quickly feel part of the team. Key Responsibilities and Duties: ? Provide initial advice and guidance to learners interested in A2HE ensuring learners enrolled are suitable for the course and delivery model ? Assess pre-course questionnaires/interview potential learners to determine course suitability ? Set up and maintain UCAS application timeline ? Provide regular support, advice and guidance to learners throughout their programme regarding the UCAS application process ? Support A2HE learners with completion and submission of UCAS applications ? Coordinate tutor references for learners to accompany UCAS applications ? Establish processes and tracking systems to monitor UCAS applications and provide key statistical reports and data ? Provide robust exit advice to learners as they set personal goals for career progression ? Provide support to tutors in delivering A2HE in ensuring robust IAG is given to learners throughout the programme ? Carry out assessments and provide robust feedback confirming assessment decision in accordance with the Awarding Body requirements, a sample of the assessments will be assessed by our team of internal moderators ? Ensure timely achievements are met, including retention and achievement targets by implementing strategies and supporting learners ? Provide weekly analysis and feedback to Flexible Learning Delivery Manager ? Meet with dedicated Tutor Support Officer weekly to exchange work and discuss learner progress ? Make initial contact with learners within 3 days of allocation and maintain regular contact ? Address any actions identified by the internal moderation team within a period of 10 days ? Support Quality Team with moderation activities where required ? Lead standardisation meetings with Quality Manager ensuring attendance from all tutors ? Maintain strong links with team members, ensuring all activity is complementary and utilises existing knowledge, expertise, resources and industry business links within our organisation ? Manage own continued professional development through undertaking relevant training and sharing best practice ? To undertake any necessary Data Protection responsibilities and duties as required by the post ? Undertake any training relevant to the efficient execution of any of the above duties, and to take responsibility for your own personal development ? Promote embedding of English and maths (following SPAG guidance), E&D, Safeguarding, British Values, Prevent through feedback Knowledge and Experience Skills Required: ? A Level 4 or above qualification to have been achieved in their subject area ? PGCE, DTTLS or the new Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or working towards the PGCE or Level 5 Diploma ? A sector qualification at least one level higher than the level of the course you would like to mark ? Recent sector experience and CPD ? Assessing Award (A1/A2/D32/D33/TAQA or equivalent qualification) is preferred but not essential
