My client are looking for a 1st/2nd Desktop Engineer based in central Birmingham. 4 week contract minimum but this contract role is to cover my client while they look for a permanent position so they is a great chance of extension or even the permanent option. £100 per day with a very immediate start! I wanted to see if you or anyone you know would be interested in the following: The ideal candidate will have appropriate experience and/or certification, have the ability to get up to speed and have experience in the following; Skills: * Able to take and process calls or user visits and document key requirements, troubleshooting steps and resolution actions * Windows 7, Windows 10 * Office 2013 * Outlook 2013, understanding of Exchange * Office 365 administration * Use of AD (Active Directory) for user set up, changes to permissions, * Laptop support, installation * General support for printers, connectivity issues * Ability to diagnose and resolve issues effectively * Good communicator, can interact meaningfully with users who are not technical, and work well with the team collaborating at a technical level Premier are acting as an employment agency
